It is designed as per the electrical standards that result in high robustness and capability to withstand Overcurrent faults. SELVO MCB is made of flame retardant & high strength thermoplastic material PBT (Polybutylenetheraphthalate). It has a high melting point. Low water absorption, and high dielectric strength, therefore enable it to withstand high temperatures.
The contact mechanism comprises fixed and moving contacts to which incoming and outgoing wires are connected. The current carrying parts are made up of electrolytic copper & silver graphite which ensures reliability, long operational life & anti-weld properties.
